If you crave both airy ambiance, views, and lush pools for your Miami getaway, I’ve got you covered. Let me show you the best city hotels with rooftop pools right now that you can’t resist!
I have spent long periods of time in Miami for the last couple of years, and although my favorite area is Miami Beach (I LOVE the beach!), there are amazing hotels on the “mainland” as well.
Also, I am a passionate lover of rooftop terraces, in particular with views, chill bars, and pools in one airy place.
Here are six of the top-rated Miami hotels with stunning rooftop pools, views, and top-notch facilities for Miami summers and sunsets (and yes, I have a favorite!).
Top-Rated Miami Hotels With Rooftop Pools
City holidays are often full of hustle and bustle, so being able to skip out of your city shoes and sink into incredible pools on a rooftop terrace with a blue pool while gazing towards the skylinetop of the city is priceless.
Also, if you ever are going to plan a Miami Girls Trip, as I have in mind for next year with my squad (after having traveled solo in Miami for years!), one of these top-rated hotels might be just the place for the best getaway ever.
1. Funky Arlo Wynwood Hotel
The Arlo Wynwood (8.4/10) is a newer hotel that opened in the fall of 2022, situated in the heart of Miami’s art district, Wynwood, within walking distance from “everything”.
The hotel has a wide range of amenities. In addition to the stunning rooftop pool, you can hit the gym, the in-house restaurant, and the bar, and there are free bikes to roam the city exploring.
This is perfect if you want to explore the Wynwood Art District and Wynwood Walls Center and the myriad restaurants and bars scattered around this artsy city district.
One of the best food tours in Miami is in Wynwood. I have done this tour, and can safely recommend it, super interesting, with more than enough food, and a great guide.
Wynwood is also very close to Brickell and Downtown Miami with the highrises, glamorous malls, and Bayside Marketplace, where you can go shopping or just stroll for the ambiance.
Bayside Marketplace is also where many of the stunning boat trips of Biscayne Bay depart from, and it is also a buzzing market area with stands, music, and a park to chillax.
2. Elser Hotel In Buzzing Miami Downtown
Near Bayside Marketplace, you can find your Miami sanctuary at the Elser Hotel (9.2/10) in Downtown Miami.
You can easily walk to Bayside Marketplace (yep, the boat trips of Biscayne Bay), Bayfront Park, and the Downtown Miami shopping district from the Elser Hotel.
After giving your credit card a ride, you can head back for some spa pampering, lounge by the rooftop pool, or get a bite to eat at the coffee shop and cafe.
You also find two bars and lounges at the Elser Hotel, and if you prefer to stay in, there is an in-house restaurant and poolside bar to wind down in the Miami night!

3. Kimpton EPIC Hotel Downtown
The Kimpton EPIC (8.3/10) in Downtown certainly has an epic rooftop with incredible views of the highrises surrounding the hotel and an incredible ambiance created by a modern style interior and the super trendy pool.
Situated in the middle of the Miami financial district, you also get stunning views of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay from here.
Boasting an eco-friendly foundation, the hotel also features a full-service marina, and you have unsurpassed views of the sea from your dinner table!
The rooms are tailored to capture the best of the airy views, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private balcony, and a TV you can connect to your iPhone.
Your pet is welcome at the Kimpton EPIC, and between cityscapes and shopping, you can rejuvenate with either a fitness class or spa facilities!
4. Novotel Miami In Modern Brickell
Sitting on the edge of Simpson Park is the Novotel Miami (8.0/10) in Brickell, a part of Miami that almost feels a bit futuristic at times with the modern architecture and highrises!
The Novotel has meeting rooms and a business center, as well as a bar and on-site restaurant, and the best part of all, the rooftop pool!
From the Novotel, you need to drive or “Uber” to the most popular areas of Miami, although it is not very far away.
Some of the closest sights are Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Biscayne Bay, and Bayside Marketplace.
The shops at Mary Brickell are a ten-minute walk away, a lifestyle center that has become super popular in Brickell. Here you find lots of stores and eateries to explore!
The rooms at the Novotel are modern and airy, with amenities like a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
5. EAST Miami Brickell “Resort”
The spectacular EASTMiami Brickell (8.5/10) has no less than four pools to basque in, as well as an on-site restaurant, fitness center, shops, a movie theater close by, and spas!
You can choose between a range of rooms or suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in rain showers, a balcony, and even en-suite tea and coffee makers.
On the amazing outdoor deck, you can alternate between the spa pool, a cold plunge, a lap pool, and a hot tub.
From the 40th floor, you have a unique, unsurpassed view of the city from the Sugar rooftop bar, or head down to the fifth floor for Uruguayan cuisine at the Quinto La Huella restaurant.
The Perez Art Museum Miami and the American Airlines Arena are a short Uber ride away, while the glamorous South Beach is about 15 minutes from the EAST Hotel.
6. The Chic Goodtime Hotel South Beach
In the heart of South Beach, Miami is a gem of a Boutique Hotel, so far, my favorite place, the amazing Goodtime Hotel!
Just a few minutes walk from Lummus Park Beach, you will have an amazing stay in this art deco-style hotel with all the commodities you need and more.
The Goodtime has an amazing pool zone, fitness center, free bikes to explore the area, and a wide terrace to enjoy the mornings, afternoons, and even evenings if you need to stay in and recuperate.
There is a really cool restaurant on site with great food, bar, and room service as well if you really need to rest in peace and quiet.
You can walk to anything from here or take the free trolley that goes up and down Miami Beach if you don’t want to venture off on a bike.
Sights nearby include South Pointe Park Beach, the famous Muscle Beach, and the Jewish Museum of Florida.
You can also walk to the Art Deco center and all the shops, bars, and restaurants of South Beach that “never sleeps”!
Wrap-Up Miami Hotels With Rooftop Pools
Whatever part of Miami you choose to stay in for your South Florida vacation, you can find your oasis in the city with an airy rooftop pool to make you forget you are in the middle of a metropolis!
If you want to combine your vaycay with shopping, Downtown Miami and Brickell will be perfect for you.
For art enthusiasts, maybe Wynwood is a good idea, and if you need to feel sand between your toes – head for Miami Beach!
You can combine your Miami & rooftop pool get away with anything you want, so start getting excited!
