The island is an incredible destination; when I visited it a few years back, I was surprised by how trendy, artsy, and modern the capital, Reykjavik, was.

At the same time, Iceland (such a small country with only half a million inhabitants) has protected its nature, culture, heritage, and history and has so many incredible places to visit!

There are so few people living in Iceland that they actually have created an app for the dating scene where you can check that a person you want to go on a date with is not related to you! Imagine that!
