The rooms in the casa are spacious, everything is comfortable and clean, and some of the guest sections upstairs have a private terrace with a valley view.

Wi-Fi is also available for a fee, which is common in casas in Cuba (free wifi is normally only available in large resorts).

You can enjoy refreshments in a fully stocked fridge at an extra cost, and a few minutes walk away from the casa is the main street of Vinales town with lots of bars and restaurants.

What To See In Vinales Cuba?

You definitely should join a tour to experience the cigar farms in Vinales, either by car, horseback riding, or on a bike tour.

You will pass Hotel Los Jazmines on the hill, sitting on a perfect vantage point when you arrive at the Vinales Valley, and the bus normally stops there to let off passengers.

The hotel has a privileged location, ideal for families, and a starting point for tours and countryside excursions. The hotel has an outdoor pool and dining area with stunning views of the valley.

You find 70 comfortable rooms, from standard rooms to junior suites, with a unique view of the Viñales Valley.

All have a private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, and safety box, and there is wifi in all the service areas.

How To Get To Vinales

From Havana, you can take the Viazul bus to Vinales, which you can book online in advance. You can also book a private transfer, or even an organized day tour if you do not wish to stay the night!

From Varadero, you can also book a private transfer or an organized day trip, but this day trip will be very long and you need to get up really early!

In Cuba, you also have the option to book a taxi collectivo, a taxi you share with other travelers. That is a convenient and reasonable option; you pay in cash, and your hotel or casa in Havana or Varadero can help you do this!

Did you also know that the nationality that visits Cuba the most is Canadians? (And more and more Americans find out they can legally travel to Cuba).

Yeah, and mostly, Canadians love to go to the pampering resorts in Varadero (which I totally get)!

But even if you are staying in the resort haven of Varadero, you can visit Vinales, Trinidad, and Havana with an organized tour.
